Memories from Limmud 2010
Get ready for Limmud 2011: Thursday, March 31st & Friday, April 1st Merkaz Ha'rav T'chumi Modiin | Limmud
is a dynamic, pluralistic gathering, celebrating Jewish learning. For 30 years, Limmud festivals and conferences around the globe have been attracting Jews of all ages and backgrounds to join in an intense learning and cultural experience. Built on a unique model, Limmud Modi’in is a 2 day event, which offers seminars, lectures, workshops and discussions that focus on an enormous range of topics. You can choose from; Women in the Talmud to Modern Israeli literature, Social issues to traditional cooking, and Rashi's commentary to Judaic art. Every hour there is so many options you will have a hard time choosing where to go!! Presenters of one topic become participants in workshops on others. All participants as well as presenters are equal; all mold their individual experience. All organizers, lecturers and presenters are volunteers. Although the program is in Hebrew, our goal is to have options suitable for those who might find that challenging; either sessions in English or sessions based on music art or other things that do not require a high level of Hebrew. |
